Basic approach

We are responsible for taking on our role as a corporate citizen and will accordingly promote the development of research into tribology and contribute to local communities through social-contribution activities.

Contributing to research into tribology

In October 2000, we established the Taiho Kogyo Tribology Research Foundation (TTRF) as a sign of gratitude for all the support we had previously received from numerous figures of authority on tribology since our founding and have contributed to the development of this field of study by supporting research and development work on and helping others learn about tribology.

The 19th Darts Tournament for Persons with Disabilities

We are focusing on supporting people with disabilities in the community, and on July 22, 2023, we held a darts tournament for people with disabilities. This tournament, which was held for the 19th time, was attended by 55 people with disabilities from disability support facilities in Toyota City. Approximately 30 in-house volunteers are involved in the management of the tournament, which also helps to foster a sense of volunteering among employees through the tournament.
